Carson grew up in State College, PA where his dad taught at Penn State. After college, Carson enrolled at Southeastern Seminary and graduated with his MDiv in 2011 before receiving supplemental church planting training in a local church context. Over the years, he's been involved to one degree or another in a variety of ministry environments spanning student ministry, prison outreach, parachurch, small groups and church planting. He and his wife Leigh Ann have three kids: Moira (9), Knox (6), and Lincoln (1). Carson loves getting to know new people and firmly believes that good coffee is proof of God's love for everyone.
Leadership is an indispensable part of any movement. As a movement centered around the gospel, the church is no different. Our success as a new church depends on our ability to transfer beliefs and behaviors to others who can then lead others to replicate the same. Whether in community service projects, discipleship, volunteering or whatever else we have going on, we are always looking for opportunities to train and release others to further this movement of freedom. We currently have several slots on our team that need to be filled. If you'd like to learn more, contact us.
